Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
All submissions must be written in English or Azerbaijani (with an abstract in both languages).
Manuscripts should adhere to academic integrity and ethical publishing standards.
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.
1. Structure of Original Articles:

Abstract (max 250 words)
Keywords (3–6 terms)

Conflict of Interest Statement
References (APA or Vancouver style, consistent throughout)
2. Format:
File format: MS Word (.doc or .docx)
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced
Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
Page numbers: bottom center
3. Figures and Tables:
Must be numbered sequentially (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.)
Each figure/table should have a title and legend
Images must be high-resolution (300 dpi or higher)
Submit figures as separate image files (JPG, PNG, TIFF) in addition to embedding them in the manuscript
Use APA or Vancouver citation style.
Ensure all sources cited in the text are included in the reference list and vice versa.
Provide DOIs or URLs for all online sources where possible.
TIMBB follows a double-blind peer review process.
Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.
Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
The editorial team reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet scientific or ethical standards.

Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
• Copying text, data, images, or ideas from other sources without proper citation
• Paraphrasing substantial content without acknowledgment
• Self-plagiarism (reusing one’s own previously published work without proper reference)
• Submitting someone else’s work as one’s own
Plagiarism Detection with Turnitin
All manuscripts submitted to TIMBB are screened using Turnitin, a leading plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts with a similarity index above 15–20% (excluding references, standard phrases, and quotations) may be rejected or returned for revision.
Consequences of Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage (submission, peer review, or post-publication), the journal reserves the right to:
• Reject the manuscript
• Retract a published article
• Inform the authors' institutions or funding bodies
• Impose a submission ban on the author(s)
• Publicly announce the misconduct in severe cases
Authors’ Responsibility
Authors must ensure that their submissions are original and fully referenced.
It is the responsibility of the authors to avoid all forms of plagiarism and uphold ethical publishing standards.
